Shocking video shows the moment a Tesla driver lost control of his vehicle and smashed directly into the garage of a Southern California home.

The incident happened Saturday around 7pm in West Hills – located northwest of Los Angeles – and three passengers dressed in Hawaiian attire were hurt.

Police say the three occupants were all elderly and included a 90-year-old man, an 82-year-old woman, and another woman whose age was not released.

The home’s security camera footage captured the moment the Tesla swerved quickly before jumping the curve and hitting a vehicle in the driveway of the home.

It’s unclear whether the driver is to blame or if the vehicle was in self-driving mode.

The crash happened at a home in the 7000 block of Royer Avenue located just across from West Hills Hospital.

In the video, first shared by Traffic News Los Angeles (TNLA), the Tesla appears to traveling down the street on the right side of the road before taking a sharp left turn.

After hitting the curb, the vehicle is briefly airborne before smashing into the right side of a van parked in the home’s driveway.

The van’s passenger side mirror is completely taken off and flies through the air as the Tesla continues forward toward the garage door.

Another vehicle parked in front of the van is then side-swept by the flying Tesla just before the car comes to a rest in in the garage.

After the crash, TNLA captured footage of first responders wheeling and walking the passengers away from the vehicle and toward the hospital.

The individuals appeared to be dressed in Hawaiian themed clothing and accessories but it is unclear where they were headed at the time of the crash.

Police did not indicate if drugs or alcohol appear to be a factor.

The conditions of the three passengers are unknown. No one else was injured.

The latest Tesla crash comes days after five police officers in Texas filed a lawsuit against the Elon Musk-owned company over an incident involving a Model X car.

The driver of the car was using the autopilot feature and was traveling at 54 miles per hour when it struck the group during a traffic stop on February 27, 2021.

The vehicle allegedly gave the impaired driver 150 warnings to take control of the vehicle over a time span of 34 minutes leading up to the collision.

Footage obtained by the WSJ shows the dramatic footage of the car driving right into the rear of a police vehicle.

All five officers who had been on the scene are now suing the car company after being injured as a result of the crash.
