A Houston couple called police as they claim their vacation home was stolen in Texas.

Jo and Lonnie Harrison say their one-bedroom, one-bathroom cabin is missing from their property in Madisonville, near Houston, Texas, ABC 13 reported.

They purchased the prefabricated home last year and they say they hadn’t checked on it since early November.

However, Lonnie returned to it on Friday and claims all he saw ‘were blocks and pipes sticking out.’

He says he called his wife, who couldn’t believe what had happened. When he called the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, he prefaced his report by saying ‘this is really going to sound strange, but I need to report a stolen house.’

Explaining the incident Jo said ‘I said you know this is really going to sound strange but I need to report a stolen house. They were like a house? I said yes. We have 10 acres and had a little cabin and the cabin is gone.’

‘Give us a call. Call the Madisonville Sheriff’s Department and let them know what you see. We really would like to have our house back,’ she continued.

Lonnie said he couldn’t see anything. ‘Nothing. Nothing that I wanted to see. I didn’t see the house.’

‘All I saw were blocks and pipes sticking out. The whole house gone. Everything except the blocks.’

They said they purchased the 10-acre home to get away from the ‘hustle and bustle’ of city life.

The sheriff’s office didn’t immediately return a call seeking an update on the case Monday.
