A Texas woman reportedly plans to marry a serial killer currently on death row, claiming he’s ‘very sensitive’ and ‘very intelligent’
According to a report in the Omaha World-Herald on Saturday, Dawn Arguello, 46, fell for Nikko Jenkins, 32, while volunteering for an inmate advocacy group.
Jenkins was sentenced to death for killing four people during a shooting spree in Nebraska back in August 2013.
The convicted killer, whom a psychiatrist has described as ‘psychopath’, went on the shooting spree less than two weeks after he was released from prison for a separate spate of carjackings.
However, Arguello does not appear to be perturbed by her beau’s checkered past.

‘He’s not what the media has made him out to be,’ she told the Obama World-Herald.
‘He’s an enigma. He has feelings. He’s very sensitive. He’s very intelligent and, yes, he’s very manipulating.’
She refused to confirm or deny whether she was engaged Jenkins, saying she didn’t want to reveal further details of their death row romance.
However, she did tell reporters that she’s not happy with the fact that the felon has had her name tattooed onto his face.
“I was very [ticked] off that he did that – he doesn’t need to be self-mutilating like that,’ she stated.

However, Jenkins has a long history of self-mutilation.
He once sliced through his tongue to make it look like a snakes, before he smeared the blood over his cell walls.
The murdered also once sliced his penis – a painful act which required 27 stitches
And in 2015, he also carved ‘666’ into his forehead. However, he used a mirror and the numbers came out backwards.
Given that Jenkins is incarcerated in Nebraska – some distance from Arguello’s hometown of Lubbock, Texas – it’s unclear how often the pair manage to meet.
Inmates at the prison are forbidden from conjugal visits.

Jenkins, who was described by one prison psychiatrist as a ‘psychopath’, has made a habit of tattooing his face. He had Arguello’s name recently added to his array of facial inkings
It’s also unclear as to what Jenkins and Arguello have bonded over – however she does appear to have a strong interest in prison life.
In addition to belonging to a prison advocacy group, Arguello’s Facebook profile lists her favorite film as Letters From Death Row.
She also enjoys the television programs Court TV, Life and Death Row, and Death Rows Stories.
She further lists of her favorite books is Real Life Monsters: A Psychological Examination of the Serial Murderer.
However, one of Arguello’s associates insists she’s not ‘death row groupie’.
Back in August 2013, Jenkins shot and killed Juan Uribe-Pena and Jorge Cajiga-Ruizon using a sawed-off 12-gauge shotgun.
His sister, Erica Jenkins, and a cousin, Christine Bordeaux, lured the two men into a park on the pretense of performing sex acts in an Omaha park. Their bodies were later found inside a pickup truck.
Eight days later, Jenkins and his sister killed Curtis Bradford, a one-time prison acquaintance.
And finally, Jenkins pulled Andrea Kruger from her SUV as she drove home from work on August 21 and shot her four times before speeding off in her vehicle.
He was apprehended a short time later.
