That ’70s Show actor Danny Masterson and Church of Scientology are sued by four women for rape

That ’70s Show actor Danny Masterson is being sued by four women who claim he drugged, raped and sexually assaulted them.

The lawsuit, obtained by The Blast, also names the Church of Scientology and its leader David Miscavige as defendants, claiming they were stalked in a ‘conspiracy to cover up that Daniel Masterson sexually assaulted four young women.’

Two of the women were named in the suit, Chrissie Bixler and Bobette Riales, while the other two are listed as Jane Doe.

‘When those women came forward to report Masterson’s crimes the Defendants conspired to and systematically stalked, harassed, invaded their and their family’s privacy, and intentionally caused them emotional distress and silence and intimidate them,’ the lawsuit states.

Bixler dated Masterson, 43, for several years and joined Scientology ‘per his orders’, according to the suit.

She claims that Masterson would regularly force her to have sex with him and ‘became violent’ when she refused, citing one occasion when he dragged her ‘naked across their bedroom floor while berating her appearance. He then threw her, still naked, into the hall and locked the bedroom door.’

Bixler claims that after the incident she was required to do an ‘ethics program’, where she told a church employee about Masterson’s abusive behavior.

She says the employee told her it was her job as his girlfriend ‘to give him sex whenever he wants it’ and that if she complied, ‘these things wouldn’t happen.’

After coming forward with her allegations, she says her dog mysteriously died.

An autopsy determined the dog ‘died of unexplained traumatic injuries to her trachea and esophagus.’

According to court documents, Bixler was run off the road by a car that had been following in June.

In the same month, Bixler claims one of Masterson’s friend threatened to release nude photos of her taken when she was underage.

Another women in the suit, Bobette Riales, claims she experienced similar threats to silence her including being followed, surveilled and had her trash stolen after going to the police with her allegations against Masterson in 2017.

Riales and Masterson dated from 2002-2004, in which time Masterson allegedly drugged and sexually assaulted her.

In the suit, she claims that one of her neighbors saw a man in her driveway taking pictures and chased him away, but then claims her 13-year-old child’s bedroom window was smashed.

But she also says the attempts to silence her began before she went public with the allegations.

Bixler claims in the suit that she first told of the alleged rape to a Scientology employee who told her, ‘You can’t be raped by someone you are in a consensual relationship with.’

She was told it’s considered a ‘high crime’ in the church to report Masterson to the police and she would be labeled an SP or suppressive person.

The other two plaintiffs, identified as Jane Doe #1 and Jane Doe #2, experienced Masterson and his alleged abuse between 1999 and 2002.

Jane Doe #1 claims she may have been by Masterson after he gave her two drinks and ended up alone in his guestroom where she fell asleep.

She claims she woke up to Masterson have sex with her and fought him off.

A few years later, Jane Doe #1 said she again felt disoriented after having a drink given to her by Masterson.

She claims she passed out and woke up to the actor raping her. She claims she ‘attempted to fight him off by shoving a pillow into his face, but he pushed it back down onto her face, making it difficult for her to breathe.’

She then claims she ‘attempted to make noise, but Masterson picked up a gun off of his nightstand, pointed it at her, and told her to be quiet.’

Jane Doe #1 claims she reported the incident to LAPD on June 6, 2004, but said the Church of Scientology ‘mobilized against Jane Doe #1 to ensure no charges were filed.’

Jane Doe #2 was a member of the Church of Scientology since childhood and claims she too felt disoriented after having a drink given to her by Masterson.

Says in the suit that Masterson sexually assaulted her in the shower and in his bedroom.

However, Jane #2 says she knew from Scientology that she would ‘Not be permitted to report the assault to civil authorities outside of Scientology’ so she did not disclose the incident to the LAPD until 2017.

Since then, she claims her phone and computer have been hacked, her car was vandalized and she received harassment on social media.

According to the lawsuit, Jane Doe #2 ‘has rarely left the house in the two years since reporting the sexual assault to law enforcement.’

Masterson has denied all accusations against him since they first came to light in 2017.
