Shoppers have found the perfect everyday summer dress at Kmart for just $30 – and it’s a ‘dupe’ of a popular fashion brand that costs more than $100.
The sleeveless A-line midi dress with red stripes has been flying off the shelves across Australia, with fans calling it a ‘gorgeous’ addition to their wardrobe.
The cotton gown, featuring a square neckline, adjustable shoulder straps and shirred back detail, easily transitions from casual to dressed-up, making it simple to throw on and go.
Fashion blogger, known as Kmart Insider on Instagram, spotted the stylish, purse-friendly piece and pointed out a key feature she knows every woman will appreciate.
‘Get in my wardrobe NOW,’ she said.
‘The Kmart version is not only more affordable but it also has two side pockets.’
She compared the style to Petal & Pup’s sell-out Brea Maxi Dress, which retails for $105.
Kmart shoppers are loving the more affordable style, as it pairs well with the red and white Christmas theme – perfect for festive lunches or dinners.

Earlier this month, Target shoppers discovered what they claimed to be the ‘perfect dupe’ of a luxury brand.
The fashion blogger behind Kmart Insider found what she believed to be an affordable alternative to the jewellery collection by French designer brand Van Cleef & Arpels, with each piece priced between $4,700 and $7,600.
Target’s purse-friendly pack, featuring a clover charm design and available in three colours – malachite green, onyx black and pearl – includes a bracelet, necklace and a pair of earrings for just $20.
The pack looks strikingly similar to the high-end’s jewellery collection.

Shoppers reluctant to fork out thousands of dollars on French luxury brand Van Cleef & Arpels’ jewellery have discovered what they claim to be the ‘perfect dupe’ from Target for just $20
A bracelet would set you back a whopping $7,600 while a necklace costs $4,700 and earrings are priced at $6,850.
Van Cleef & Arpels is widely regarded as one of the world’s most iconic luxury jewellery brands, famously known for its signature four-leaf clover design.
Despite the significant price difference, there are key features that the cheaper style lacks.
The designer pieces are made with 18k gold and malachite gemstones featuring distinctive patterns while Target’s version is gold-plated with stone-like clovers.
Many shoppers were stunned by Target’s ‘unbelievable’ offering, with many saying it’s a great alternative for those who can’t afford the luxury price tag.
‘Oh my goodness,’ one said.
‘Running to Target,’ another shared.
‘I need these, there so cute,’ one added.
