The trailer begins with Aniq (Sam Richardson) pulling up to the reunion for the Class of 2006, telling himself, ‘Nothing can ruin this night.’

A quick sequence of shots from the reunion are shown, including a brief look at Xavier partying… before he’s seen falling off a cliff to his death.

We then see some quick shots of some of the classmates, including Chelsea (Ilana Glazer), Brett (Ike Barinholtz) and Yasper (Ben Schwartz) before Detective  Danner tells them, ‘Any one of you could be the murderer.’

The group is discussing the aftermath of the death, when pregnant Jennifer #1 (Tiya Sircar) says, ‘Can we all just agree that it’s clear that Aniq killed him?’

Aniq responds, ‘Oh my God, no I didn’t,’ as Detective Danner turns to him and says, ‘I’m guessing you’re Aniq?’ as Yasper whispers, ‘She’s good.’

Chelsea adds that a good way to ‘deflect’ being a murderer is, ‘to accuse everyone else of murder.’

Jennifer is appalled saying she is, ‘with child,’ but Yasper thinks it makes sense since, ‘you kill someone and birth a new one in. The number stays the same.’

The trailer winds down with a shot of Aniq, who has been drawn on with markers with Nerd written on his forehead, saying, ‘How did this all go so wrong?’

The final shot features Detective Danner telling Aniq, ‘I need my popcorn,’ before pulling a baggie of popcorn out as Aniq says, ‘Oh you actually have popcorn?’

The show was created by Chris Miller, which has a unique premise, with each episode featuring, ‘a retelling of the same night told through a different character’s perspective, each with its own unique visual style and film genre to match the teller’s personality.’

‘This is one of the most surprising, original and fun projects we’ve ever made,’ said Miller and his producing partner, Phil Lord.

‘Our goal was to tell a comedic whodunnit story in a new and exciting way. By giving each episode its own unique style of storytelling, we were able to make what feels like eight distinctly different but interconnected films that highlight how everyone’s personal perspective and biases shape how they see the world,’ they added.
