The Bachelorette: Sportsbet flooded with bets for ‘no winner’ result

Will Angie Kent ‘pull a Honey Badger’? Rumours swirl The Bachelorette will choose NEITHER suitor in the finale – as Sportsbet reveals a ‘no winner’ outcome is looking increasingly likely

Rumours are swirling that Angie Kent could ‘pull a Honey Badger’ and pick neither suitor in Thursday’s season finale of The Bachelorette.

Last year’s Bachelor, rugby player Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins, left viewers outraged after he rejected both women in the final episode.

And there are now whispers that Angie, 29, could do the same after she had an emotional breakdown while sending home Ryan Anderson on Wednesday’s episode.

Oh, no! Rumours are swirling that Angie Kent will choose neither suitor in Thursday night’s Bachelorette finale – as Sportsbet reveals a ‘no winner’ outcome is looking increasingly likely

‘I felt like I could pick… but now I don’t know if I can,’ Angie wept at the rose ceremony, before regretfully sending home Ryan.

As a result of her tearful indecision, Sportsbet is now being flooded with bets for a ‘no winner’ outcome.

In less than 24 hours, the odds for ‘no winner’ have shortened significantly from $21 to just $6.

By contrast, Timm Hanly’s odds of winning are sitting at $4, making him the underdog, while Carlin Sterritt is the clear favourite to win at $1.27.

In a worrying development, 85 per cent of all bets placed since Wednesday’s episode were for a ‘no winner’ outcome.

‘Before Honey Badger’s season, we didn’t think “no winner” was even a possibility, but he set a precedent, and judging from Angie’s tears last night, she looks to be following in his footsteps,’ Sportsbet’s Rich Hummerston told WHO magazine.

However, Angie confirmed to TV Week last month that she did choose a suitor.

‘I’m extremely happy,’ she told the magazine, before reassuring fans that she had not ‘done a Honey Badger’.

The Bachelorette concludes Thursday at 7:30pm on Channel 10
