Sophie Monk dumped him and chose Stu Laundy as her winner on The Bachelorette finale, on Thursday.
And now Jarrod Woodgate has revealed just how heartbroken he is, saying he’s ‘gutted’ and wanted to propose.
The 31-year-old vineyard manager told TV Week he’s still in love with the former Bardot singer.

‘I’m madly in love with Sophie so popping the question was definitely on the cards,’ Jarrod told the publication.
‘I’m gutted from the perspective of not being with Sophie,’ he said.
He added: ‘To know that I’ve come this far and we’ve achieved so much together is hard.’

Jarrod – who was dubbed ‘stage five clinger’ by fans of the show – was dumped by Sophie on the finale on Thursday.
Sophie said she was in love with winner Stu, with Jarrod breaking down into tears and walking off on the beach, alone.
Sophie had told Jarrod: ‘In my head, you’re everything I’ve been looking for. Absolutely everything, but my heart belongs to someone else.’
He avoided eye contact with Sophie, sighing as he admitted: ‘Wow. I didn’t know what to think, coming into today, but I didn’t expect that.’

Composing himself, he sniffled and thanked Sophie for their short-lived romance.
Sophie found it difficult watching the heartbroken Victorian head home, saying: ‘Oh, I’m an a**hole. Oh, God. I’m sorry.’
Publican Stu, 44, meanwhile was elated that he won Sophie’s heart.

The father of four meanwhile spoke to Daily Mail Australia on Thursday, and shot down rumours that he and Sophie have split since filming the show.
‘I am madly in love,’ Stu said.
He also revealed that he’s even thinking about having more children with the blonde bombshell.
‘We’ve talked about having kids at some point’,’ Stu added.
