He’s preparing to hit the ring on December one for a charity boxing match against footy star Sonny Bill Williams.

And on Wednesday, Bachelorette star Stu Laundy looked a little nervous as he jetted into Sydney from New Zealand, as he prepares to train hard for the fight.

The 45-year-old cut a casual figure on the day in jeans, taking a phone call as he landed.

He wore white sneakers and covered his face with aviator shades.

On Wednesday, Stu told Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa that filming The Bachelorette with his ex Sophie Monk was harder than his upcoming match, joking that the blonde will be the ring girl for the fight.

‘Whats harder? I’m assuming it was The Bachelorette filming, that was punishing,’ he said.

He joked about Sophie being a ring girl: ‘Basically that’s two people in the ring who will be gunning for me.’

Sonny Bill is undefeated in seven fights, and is a former New Zealand Heavyweight Champion.

‘Some call it brave, I might call it stupid, but I’ve been throwing drunks out of pubs for 30 years,’ Stu told Daily Mail Australia this week.

‘Sonny’s got me in bulk and muscle… and probably athleticism as well.’

‘But I’ve done quite a lot of sparring throughout my life. I’ve had experience throwing punches.’
