The Bachelor’s Alex Nation welcomes son with boyfriend Carson Jory

Alex Nation has welcomed her second child, a son, who has been named Maxwell Keegan Jory. 

The former Bachelor star, 30 announced the good news on Instagram on Monday, revealing that the bub came into the world on Friday. 

The new mum shared a sweet photograph in which she cradled the new arrival alongside boyfriend Carson Jory and revealed the birth was ‘intense’.

Alex wrote in her caption: ‘20.08.21. 3.20pm. Maxwell Keegan Jory. His entrance was intense and it was beautiful. We are so in love’. 

The birth came just one week after the former reality star celebrated her 30th birthday.   

‘There is still time for Baby J to share a birthday with Mumma. 30 and always flirty,’ she captioned a photo at the time, in which she cuddled up to Carson.

She was briefly married to her ex husband Joel Porter. They share a son, Elijah, 10, together.

The reality TV star also revealed details of her birthing plan – saying she intended on having a ‘natural’ birth.

‘My birth preference is that I want to give a natural birth a red hot crack,’ Alex wrote on Instagram.

‘Bump does Easter adventures,’ she wrote beside one sultry image, featuring her leaning up against a rock in a barely there two piece and sunglasses. 

Other pictures show her flaunting her bump during a getaway with a beautiful vista in the background, as well as posing in a retro blue dress, belly on show.  

Alex announced on January 31 that she was expecting, sharing the exciting news on Instagram, just one month after going public with tradesman Carson.

She posted a photo of her bump, and wrote: ‘I wonder if you’ll have your father’s eyes? Will you be stubborn like your mother? See you soon, little darling.’  

Alex also shared incredible images from her 4D ultrasound last month, writing, ‘I am just so in love,’ alongside the images. 

Referring to her partner Carson, Alex added: ‘Carson, we made that!’

Alex won the heart of rope-access technician Richie Strahan on The Bachelor in 2016, but they split a year later.

She came out as pansexual in 2017 and revealed she was dating a woman, Maegan Luxa, from her local footy team.

They got engaged in December of that year, only to break up the following April.
