They declared their love for one another during the Bachelor finale, which aired on Thursday night.
And on Friday, Matt Agnew and Chelsie McLeod revealed they almost spoiled the result by making a silly mistake.
The couple told The Kyle and Jackie O Show that they accidentally bumped into each other in Melbourne last week by going to the same pub.

Fortunately they weren’t spotted by any Bachelor fans and managed to make a quick escape.
Chelsie explained that she and Matt had to strategically keep their distance due to living in close proximity in the same city.
‘I shared my location with him so that he could avoid me, but he bumped into me!’ Chelsie said, recalling the pub incident.
Matt said he immediately left the pub to go to another venue, but Chelsie threw a spanner in the works by heading in his direction later that same evening.

Matt explained: ‘We were in the same pub, I managed to extract myself from the pub.
‘But then she goofed because I said, “I’ll go this other pub” and she said, “Actually I’m going to this pub instead!”‘
During their radio interview, the pair said they are in no rush to move in together because they already live so close by.
‘I think for us, we’re excited to have some sort of normality to the relationship,’ Matt said. ‘Some people might call it more mundane stuff, but that’s what makes a relationship.’

On Thursday night’s Bachelor finale, Matt confessed his love for Chelsie against the beautiful backdrop of South Africa.
After bidding an awkward farewell to runner-up Abbie Chatfield, he sweetly told Chelsie he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.
He said: ‘I’ve never believed in such thing as the perfect woman until I met you. You encapsulate everything that I’m looking for in a woman.’
