It becomes immediately clear that he has bitten off more than he can chew as several helpers try to figure out how to do all the work under six months.

The numbers are crunched, the contractors are hired, and the demolition is complete.

At home, he tries to find new recipes that will draw in the crowds but it is not as easy as he thought.

And new chefs are interviewed, but they either seem flaky or weird, which means staffing isn’t a walk in the park either.

All the while Carmy looks overwhelmed into silence as he tries to think his way to success.

Season one of The Bear was a big cult hit for Hulu.

The season two logline reads: ‘Carmy, Sydney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri) and Richard “Richie” Jerimovich (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) work to transform their grimy sandwich joint into a next-level spot.

They have it all mapped out, or do they? The blueprints are hard to follow in this clip. Center is chef Sydney Adamu - played by Ayo Edebiri. Far left is Sugar, played by Anny Elliott

‘Of course, it turns out the only thing harder than running a restaurant is opening a new one, and the team must juggle the insane bureaucracy of permits and contractors with the beauty and creative agony of menu planning.

‘The transition brings a newfound focus on hospitality as well.
