The Beauty Chef founder Carla Oates reveals her skin secrets and the exact routine she follows

The founder of Australian wellness empire The Beauty Chef, Carla Oates, has revealed her go-to skincare routine and the new ‘miracle’ face oil she can’t go without.

The 46-year-old from Sydney swears by ensuring her gut is nourished first, then follows a simple routine every morning and evening.

‘I believe beauty begins in the belly; So much happens in the gut and diet is very important if you want to transform your skin,’ Carla told FEMAIL.

Last month the brand officially launched its first skincare product – the all-in-one Intensive Rejuvenating Oil that reduces fine lines, wrinkles and promotes a natural glow through the use of natural ingredients.

Next, she massages a homemade oil cleanser into her skin then gently removes it with a warm, damp cloth.

‘Oils are an amazing way to remove dirt from the skin and has been used for centuries,’ she said, adding how she uses a cleanser both in the morning and evening.

On the official launch day the product was selling so quickly the brand had to delay its advertising campaign because it wouldn’t have been able to keep up with demand.

Sydney model Victoria Lee raved about the product on Instagram, claiming it’s her go-to daily face oil.
