The best rooms created by The Block winners Josh and Elyse

They were named winners of The Block 2017, on Sunday.

And it’s not hard to see why Josh Barker and Elyse Knowles won the competition.

Daily Mail Australia takes a look back at some of the best rooms the pair created on the show, after their home sold for a whopping $3,067,000.

No wonder they won! Take a look back at some of the best rooms created by The Block winners Josh and Elyse

One of the most stunning rooms the pair created was their master en suite, that was complete with high ceilings and skylights, a beaded chandelier, and a plush pink bed head.

The pair won the master bedroom renovation week with their room – with the judges awarding them 28.5 points out of 30.

The room had white walls, and white, grey and pink styling.

Another winning room for the couple was their stunning grey bathroom, where they took home first place in the first week.

The pair – who are the youngest competitors to ever appear on the show – took a risk placing a large white and round bathtub in the area.

The pair narrowly won the week, beating rivals Sticks and Wombat by just half a point.

Judge Darren Palmer called Josh and Elyse’s space was ‘at a professional level’.

Josh and Elyse also impressed the judges and won kitchen week.

The pair created a large butler’s pantry and took a gamble by changing the orientation of their island bench, separating them from their rivals.

The pair scored 28.5 points for the space, which featured stunning charcoal and white cupboards and white marble-look benches.

There was plenty of drama surround their kitchen week win, with Sarah and Jason dobbing in the pair’s non-compliant kitchen.

Shocking their co-stars, Josh and Elyse lost points and were told that Jason and Sarah – who came second that week – were now tied with them for first place for their kitchen, and were also given $10,000.

Their gas stove top was too close to the Caesarstone splash back according to building and safety regulations and was something the judges overlooked.

Another winning space for the pair was their open-plan backyard, which the judges said would be perfect for all types of families.

The couple scored full marks – 30 out of 30 – and features a pool, a grass area, a deck, and BBQ.

Josh added that he and Elyse are now ‘mortgage free.’

He said it was hard to watch their rivals walk away with little money, including Clint and Hannah, who made a $95,000 profit.

‘We put all our energy into this house so it is absolutely unbelievable to walk away with $547,000.’
