The budget product is especially popular because it is 100 per cent pure organic rosehip oil.

It has also been praised for assisting both with skin ageing, skin renewal and repair.

While many use it on their face at night before they go to bed, others have said it’s perfect to let it sit on the skin and absorb while you’re working from home in isolation during the coronavirus pandemic.

Others swear by the product for getting rid of scars, smoothing fine lines and ‘feeding’ the skin with powerful antioxidants and vitamins.

‘I’m not a huge fan of face oils, but I thought I’d give this a go, and was glad that I did,’ one recent reviewer said.

‘It isn’t strongly scented like some rosehip oils, and is non-irritating to my sensitive and eczema-prone skin.

The reviewer added: ‘The oil is easily dispensed with a glass dropper, and is light and easily absorbed. I use it as a serum under moisturiser morning and night, and it is non-greasy and does not leave an oily film.

‘It makes my skin feel soft and supple and really hydrated.’

Another praised the oil for being ‘liquid gold’ and absolutely perfect for the delicate under-eye area.

‘I genuinely enjoy using this rosehip oil,’ one reviewer wrote.

‘I mostly use this one at night because it sinks in slowly. It spreads well onto damp skin.’

In the past, model Cara Delevingne has said that she always keeps a bottle of the oil in her makeup bag to keep her skin looking its best, adding a few drops to her face after cleansing in the evening and before her moisturiser in the morning.

The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton is another fan, and she uses it to prevent wrinkles and boost her glow in favour of harsher skincare ingredients like retionoids.

It is great for pregnant women too, and can be used to help to stop lines from forming on a growing stomach.
