Several questions remain surrounding the deaths of a former Channel 10 presenter and his boyfriend at the alleged hands of police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon.
Lamarre-Condon, 28, is in protective custody after handing himself in at Bondi Police Station on Friday over the alleged deaths of Jesse Baird, 26, and Qantas flight attendant Luke Davies, 29.
Police will allege the senior constable murdered the couple at Mr Baird’s Paddington apartment, in Sydney’s inner-east, sometime on Monday before disposing of their bodies – which are yet to be found.
He has been charged with two counts of murder and has been remanded in custody at Silverwater Correctional Complex while his matter remains before the courts.
Several crucial questions remain around the deaths including where the bodies of Mr Baird and Mr Davies have been disposed.

When exactly did Jesse Baird and Luke Davies die?
Former Channel 10 presenter Jesse Baird, 26, and his Qantas flight attendant boyfriend Luke Davies, 29, were last seen alive at a pre-Mardi Gras party on Sunday night, February 18, at the Beresford Hotel in Surry Hills.
According to court documents, the pair were allegedly killed by Lamarre-Condon at Mr Baird’s Paddington home, in Sydney’s east, sometime between 12.01am and 5.30pm on Monday.
What happened on the night?
Police will allege Lamarre-Condon used his police issued Glock pistol to allegedly shoot the pair.
It is alleged he then stored the pistol in a suburban police station, though detectives did not specify which one, before taking sick leave on Tuesday and failing to return to work on Wednesday.
Homicide Squad commander Detective Superintendent Danny Doherty said police matched a bullet cartridge found in the premises to the Lamarre-Candon’s service pistol.
‘Police located a projectile at the premises which had been discharged and also a fired cartridge case,’ Det Supt Doherty said.
‘This has now been physically matched to a NSW Police firearm and forms part of the evidence for the alleged facts to face court for this 28-year-old man.’
The pistol is currently the subject of a ballistics examination which will establish how many bullets were fired and how many were left in the clip when it was checked back into a firearm safe.
Grave concerns for the couple’s wellbeing were further triggered after police found pools of blood, blood-spatter and overturned furniture at the Brown Street property.
Investigators allege there was an attempt to clean the home after the men had died.
Later on Monday evening, Lamarre-Condon hired a white Toyota HiAce van from Mascot and allegedly used it to dispose of the couple’s bodies.
Police sources also allege Lamarre-Condon used Mr Baird’s phone to text his housemates in an ‘amateur’ attempt at creating a story to justify his absence.
In the two lengthy text messages, Lamarre-Condon posed as Mr Baird and told his housemates that he was moving to Perth on Thursday and instructed them to leave his furniture out on the street.

Where are the bodies?
Lamarre-Condon has not told investigators were the bodies of Mr Baird and Mr Davies are located – and it is unknown whether he has admitted to any involvement in their deaths.
However, police believe Lamarre-Condon used the white Toyota HiAce van that he hired on Monday to dispose of their bodies.
He allegedly hired the vehicle in Mascot at 9.30pm on Monday – after allegedly committing the murders.
Police are reviewing toll points, traffic cameras, mobile phone towers and GPS data and mobile phone towers to establish exactly where the 28-year-old travelled after leaving the crime scene.
Police found bloodied clothes and other personal effects including credit cards belonging to Mr Baird and Mr Davies dumped in a skip bin in Cronulla on Wednesday.
An extensive search for the bodies is underway, with detectives scouring an area from Newcastle, about two hours north of Sydney, to the Shire, in the city’s south.
Police divers are also searching a waterway in Lambton and were assisted by homicide detectives on Friday and Saturday.

Why did Lamarre-Condon drive all over Sydney and Newcastle?
Lamarre-Condon allegedly rented the white van and drove it to Lambton, in Newcastle on Thursday before driving it back to the Shire on Friday morning where it was discovered in Grays Point.
CCTV footage from Club Lambton on Karoola Road was seized by police and showed the white van parked on the road overnight on Thursday.
A witnesses who saw the parked van told police it was gone by 2am. It will be alleged Lamarre-Condon drove the van back to Sydney, where it was found.
Footage also captured Lamarre-Condon arriving at his uncle’s house on Friday morning.
He was spotted wearing a dark coloured hoodie and cap as he arrived at his relative’s home in Grays Point, in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire.
Shortly after, the pair drove to Bondi Police Station where Lamarre-Condon was charged.
