The Block: All out war breaks out on set of the show and contestants are forced to intervene during a fight between husband and wife team Steph and Gian

Tensions were boiling over on Wednesday night’s episode of The Block.

With three days to go until the living and dining room reveals, cracks were beginning to show in some of the blockheads’ relationships. 

Steph and Gian were at each other’s throats again as they argued over fine details in their rooms.

After seeing the pair fight, Kristy thought Steph went too far in the way she treated Gian and decided to intervene. 

And the confrontation between the two blockheads got heated.

‘I just feel annoyed, I’m not even angry at him,’ Steph said.

‘Maybe your tone just comes across like that?’ Kristy replied.

‘What’s it to everyone else? We’re just annoyed, can’t we just be annoyed?’ Steph shot back.

Kristy then spoke to Leah behind her back, telling her that Steph goes too hard on her husband. 

‘I made a comment to her: why are you talking to him like that?’ she said.

‘And then she was like why does everyone think that they can have an opinion on our relationship?’ 

Upset over all the chatter and gossip, Steph was reduced to tears and tried to justify the way she speaks to her partner.

‘He’s my husband I can totally speak to him the way that I want because he know what I’m trying to say,’ she said tearfully. 

Gian confirmed he was 100 percent behind his wife and they communicate how they want, adding that it’s not up to other people to police their relationship. 

Meanwhile, Scott Cam and Shelley Craft took a walkthrough each house and things got heated when Eliza has an outburst about plastering.

Scott asked if Eliza has an estimate of the plastering bill, to which she responded ‘This is where I’m getting a bit frustrated because everyone’s at me at me at me about the plastering.’

Eliza continued on a long diatribe about the troubles around plastering and cost and claimed she got a better rate than other people, to which Scott quickly said ‘ok, that’s great.’ 

Meanwhile Kyle and Leslie were having major issues with the layout of their dining room, and their pricey Christian Cole table looked like it will be too big to fit.

Elsewhere, Kristy and Brett continued with their demolition and re-stumping of their house and didn’t believe the budget they have is achievable to finish off their home.

Meanwhile Eliza had an outburst at host Scott Cam about plastering
