The Block winners Hayden and Sara defend Scott Cam’s ‘sexist’ comment

The Block winners Hayden and Sara Vale are defending Scott Cam against claims he is ‘sexist’.

During Sunday night’s finale of the program, the host garnered viewer backlash after he told contestants Bianca Chatfield and Carla Dziwoki that their auction results were ‘not bad for a couple of single girls’

But speaking exclusively with Daily Mail Australia on Monday, Hayden and Sara said they believe Scott’s comment is actually ’empowering’.

And while the couple – who are expecting their second child – dismissed claims that Scott was sexist, they did reveal that the TV tradie was excited when he learned the gender of their baby.
