The Block’s Kirsty Lee Akers and husband Jesse Anderson appeared to pay tribute to their country roots at the show’s auctions in Melbourne on Saturday.

The pair, who are high school sweethearts originally from NSW’s Wangi Wangi, stepped out to see their home go under the hammer in rather flamboyant outfits.

Country music singer Kirsty, 34, turned heads in a red and pink minidress while videographer Jesse, 33, wore a country-western style red embellished suit.

Kirsty’s frock featured oversized bright pink sleeves and she teamed the look with a pair of sky-high heels.

The blonde, who has a golden guitar under her belt for her music, wore her locks out and over her shoulders and makeup including a smokey eye.

Jesse’s outfit also got plenty of attention, with it featuring white detailing on the jacket and even running down the side of his trousers.

‘Music and family have always been the most important parts of my life,’ she wrote on her official website.

‘My Nan, Mum and Aunt were singers, and I grew up with my pop playing Country Music all the time. I still remember my first performance at age three. I was hooked!’

At one point, Kirsty seemed overcome with emotion, no doubt as the pressure and nerves of the day hit home.

Meanwhile, buyer’s agent Nicole Jacobs told realestate.com.au she thinks Kirsty Lee Akers and Jesse Anderson will come out on top on auction day.

‘Based on land and opportunity for a family home you would have to think Kirsty and Jesse have a good chance of taking it out,’ Ms Jacobs said.

The pair took on quite the challenge with their 911sqm property, making it the biggest allotment on the season.

The pair were able to pull off creating a Hamptons-inspired family home with four bedrooms and four bathrooms spread across the first and second floor.

The Block finale airs on Sunday on Channel Nine at 7pm.
