An explosive body corporate meeting on Monday’s episode of The Block left Steph in tears after she and husband Gian were accused of breaking the rules.

The pair had Steph’s dad, who is a builder and glazier, help them build their bathroom, but despite the help they still came last.

Ash called the meeting to confront the pair, and things soon turned tense when they were told they needed to induct Steph’s dad before he could work on site.

Further gripes were raised about Steph’s dad being paid for his work without doing the proper induction procedure, which again was against the rules.

Steph argued that the pair had lost their builder and she never indented her father to work on the bathroom.

‘I didn’t realise I was breaking the rules,’ Steph said, before insisting they had ‘no advantage’ and came last anyway.

Ash insisted it was ‘against the rules’ and argued that if he saw Steph’s dad working on the site again he’d ‘lose it’.

‘You can’t have someone paid on site who isn’t inducted. We just need to be reminded of the rules,’ Leah added.

Architect Steph became tearful as she argued that the Blockheads should have spoken to her directly before calling a meeting.

Leah said she had 'no time' to speak to Steph but it was quickly proven she had spent time gossiping with the others about Steph and Gian the night before

Kyle stood up for the pair, arguing that Ash and Leah think they ‘run the site’ and he didn’t see the big issue with Steph’s dad helping.

Leah was outraged by Kyle’s comments, saying, ‘I’ve actually never heard the guy speak. And I don’t want him to ever speak to me again’.

The matter was eventually resolved, but Steph and Gian were warned that they can’t have people on site unless they are officially inducted, with host Scott Cam confirming that contestants can’t be breaking the rules.
