The Gogglebox Australia cast rip into Love Island – calling it the ‘worst show ever’ that should be watched on ‘mute’
Love Island Australia recently returned to television after a two-year break.
And while the show might have proved to be popular with audiences, the cast of Gogglebox Australia had plenty to say about the Channel Nine dating show on Wednesday night.
After being shown a recent episode, many of the outspoken cast couldn’t believe some of the things happening on the show.

‘It’s honestly the worst show on TV,’ exclaimed Millie of the Dalton family, to which her father cheekily replied, ‘I know, but Holly is so invested.’
‘Come on, Eat first!’ quipped Kerry while Great Grandma ‘Emmie’ sat alongside smiling as she watched a couple attempt to kiss each other while eating bacon.
‘This show is so stupid’ Di later exclaimed, before partner Alex replied that he was enjoying the show, arguing: ‘Oh, no, this sort of spices it up.’

Later on, Matt Dalton commented that the girls should have picked up their bikinis for half price because there was barely any fabric.
Upon seeing the contestants raunchy swimwear grandma Emmie cheekily asked, ‘What happens if they want to let a little bit of air out?’
She went on to comment, ‘It would be so tight that it would hold the fart back inside,’ to which Kerry hit back: ‘You couldn’t wear one then.’

The overjoyed Islanders and squealing appeared too much for Kerry, who voiced: ‘I’m going to have to mute this if they don’t shut up’.
The scantily clad women on the show proved to be a hit with the men on Gogglebox, particularly the younger generation.
‘Holy Jesus! That wasn’t a half-price sale – that was a 95%-off sale!’ another cast member voiced.
