The Goldbergs actor Jackson Odell died from an accidental drug overdose in June, it has been revealed.
The Medical Examiner revealed that the 20-year-old died from a fatal combination of heroin and cocaine.
At the time, he was trying to get clean and staying at a sober living facility – where his body was found on June 8.

According to the Medical Examiner, Odell’s death was caused by an accidental overdose of cocaine and heroin. Odell is seen on The Goldbergs sitting on the couch in a grey shirt
Police investigated the untimely death of the young actor but according to The Blast: ‘The coroner ruled that Odell’s cause of death was “acute heroin and cocaine toxicity” and the manner of death was deemed “accidental.”‘
Earlier in the summer Odell was reportedly found unresponsive in a sober living home in San Fernando Valley.
Odell, who launched his acting career at the age of 12, also starred in Judy Moody, Not Bummer Summer and in several hit TV shows including iCarly, Arrested Development and Modern Family.
The Colorado native was also a successful singer and songwriter.
He wrote several songs for the soundtrack of Forever My Girl, which launched earlier this year.
