The Gray Man FIRST LOOK: Ryan Gosling is a wanted man after sparking a global manhunt as Netflix share images from $200million film starring Ana de Armas and Chris Evans

Netflix has offered a first glimpse at forthcoming summer blockbuster The Gray Man ahead of its July release.

The star-studded spy thriller finds Ryan Gosling, Billy Bob Thornton, Chris Evans and Ana de Armas involved in a global manhunt after a CIA mercenary inadvertently exposes agency secrets.

Former Bridgerton heartthrob Regé-Jean Page also features in his first role since departing the steamy period drama – another Netflix release – to pursue other roles in 2020.

Here we go: Netflix has offered a first glimpse at forthcoming summer blockbuster The Gray Man ahead of its July release

Adapted from the 2009 novel of the same name by author Mark Greaney, The Grey Man has been brought to life with a budget of $200 million, making it the most expensive film ever made by the streaming giant.

First images from the imminent release feature Gosling as CIA operative Court Gentry, aka Sierra Six – the elusive ‘grey man’ responsible for setting off a chain reaction of global terror.

Gentry was once a highly-skilled, Agency-sanctioned merchant of death. But now the tables have turned and Six is the target.

Viewers will see him hunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen, played by Evans, a psychopathic former cohort at the CIA, who will stop at nothing to take him out.

Fortunately for Six, Agent Dani Miranda, played by rising star de Armas, has his back – and he’ll need it.

Russo Brothers Anthony and Joseph have directed the new film while sharing producer credits with Joe Roth, Jeffery Kirschenbaum, Mike Larocca and Chris Castaldi.
