Pulling a prank on a police officer isn’t the wisest move, but this cop’s reaction to a harmless joke may have over-stepped the mark.  

A dramatic video shows prankster Cameron Michael Holland being forced out of his vehicle for a firm talking to and a breath test after playing an innocent prank on an officer.

The video footage shows a vehicle pull up next to a Queensland police car, before the officer rolls down his window.

The confused cop stuck his arm out the window of his vehicle and proceeded to check the keyhole

‘Mate, you’ve left your key in the door,’ the prankster alerts the officer who proceeds to check the keyhole

‘Mate, you’ve left your key in the door,’ Mr Holland alerts the officer.

The confused cop then sticks his arm out the window of his vehicle and checks the door.

Mr Holland laughed and said: ‘Nah, it’s in your ignition.’

Moments later the prankster is pulled to the side of the road by blaring sirens.

The frustrated officer questions Mr Holland and performs a breath test on him.

‘You think it’s funny mucking around with emergency services or something do you?’ the cop asks.

‘Get over the side of the road, stop playing games.’

The video was shared to Facebook where social media users responded to the footage.

‘The prank was good and cop should’ve had a laugh at the harmless joke,’ one person commented. 

”’Don’t mess with emergency services” yet pulls him over and wastes how much time when he could be attending those ’emergencies’.’ wrote another.

‘It’s people like these young fellas that think they are above the law nothing but loser wannabe gangsters that’s all I see,’ another social media user commented. 

The video has over 200,000 views.
