Cherries in the Snow is a creamy fuchsia color, that boasts cool, blue undertones. Therefore, the color is ideal for those with blue undertones in their skin.

Meanwhile, Fire and Ice is a creamy, hot pink-red shade that boasts warmer undertones – making it ideal for those with a dark or olive skin-tone.

Both shades have proven very popular over the years, as they grew to become the beauty brand’s best selling shades.

According to Revlon, the lipstick is made with micro-fine pigments so the shades are vibrant but the feeling remains lightweight and easy to wear.

Infused with vitamin E and avocado oil, the product hydrates the lips and prevents them from becoming dried out.

And the versatile product is available in four different finishes – creme, pearl, sheer and matte – giving makeup fanatics many options.

Similarly, the lipstick is available in a whopping 82 different shades – ranging from deep navy and dark red shades to light pink and cream-colored shades.

Several famous faces have been seen sporting different shades of the lipstick over the years, including brand ambassador Gal Gadot who previously told InStyle that she ‘loves’ the product.

Proving its immense popularity, the lipstick has received an impressive 4.3 star rating on Revlon’s website.

One fan of the product from Providence, Rhode Island, said: ‘I find that this is one of the best lipsticks from the drugstore! It goes on smooth and buttery, and it won’t dry your lips out.

‘Now, I did not find it to be a completely flat matte finish. I think it’s more of a velvet finish if anything. Honestly, I don’t mind because of the comfort of the wear.

In terms of how long it wears, it is a traditional lipstick so I don’t expect the same kind of wear-time as a matte liquid lipstick.

‘It will come off on things that you eat or drink, but the color does remain on your lips for a few hours. That means minimal touch-ups throughout the day,’ they added.

A New York-based makeup lover said: ‘Super Lustrous Lipstick is an old favorite and it is the best all around.’

‘Being in need of a new lipstick, I looked on amazon, and was surprised to see, after 3 score plus years, Fire and Ice was still around. Quite pleased with it!’ she added.

Another said: ‘When I was a young girl, I wore Fire and Ice lipstick and nail polish and thought I looked smart and eligant [sic].

‘I am now 75 years old and I get the same feeling. The color goes well with almost anything and stays on a long time,’ she added.
