The one crucial mistake Guy Sebastian made on The Voice as his entire team are eliminated

‘Don’t bring him back!’ The ONE crucial mistake Guy Sebastian made on The Voice that led to his entire team being eliminated before the finale

Guy Sebastian lost his entire team on The Voice on Tuesday, and now has no contestants heading into next week’s finale.

And following his semi-finals disaster, some viewers are calling for the Battle Scars hitmaker to quit the show for good.

They claim that Guy’s perceived ‘favouritism’ towards Chynna Taylor, who he let choose her own song, caused fans to turn on his entire team.

While Guy gave Chynna free rein to pick her song, he chose Mitch Paulsen and Jack Vidgen’s songs on their behalf.

This surprising move upset some viewers at home, who may have chosen to vote against Guy’s entire team in protest.

On Tuesday night, fans flocked to Twitter to accuse Guy of ‘favouritism’ and being ‘unfair’ towards Mitch and Jack.

Causing a stir: Guy allowed Chynna Taylor (M) to choose her own song to perform, while he chose songs for Mitch Paulsen (L) and fan favourite Jack Vidgen (R) to sing

‘How is Guy letting Chynna chose her own song fair? Pretty clear Guy is pushing for her to win,’ one person tweeted.

Another wrote: ‘So Mitch and Jack were told what songs to sing by Guy yet Chynna got free [rein] to sing what song she wanted too? Sounds like favouritism to me.’

A third viewer said they were happy with the four finalists, but nonetheless wanted Jack to go further in the competition.

‘Now I just wish Guy was a better coach to Jack, because I know we didn’t get to see even a fraction of his potential since the Blinds. Don’t bring Guy back.’
