Cassandra Mamone has struggled to secure much screen time on The Bachelor.

And it appears that her lack of any significant storyline involving the other women may be due to her preferential treatment from the show’s producers.

Daily Mail Australia can reveal that Cass was ‘isolated’ from her fellow contestants during filming because bosses had allowed her to break a major rule.

A source has confirmed that Cass, 33, was granted permission to use Instagram during and after production because her profile is linked to her jewellery brand.

However, the other contestants were required to ‘lock down’ their Instagram accounts in March, when filming began, and were banned from posting for months.

While the rest of the women still to this day need Channel 10’s approval before posting any photos, Cass can share whatever she likes related to her business.

Furthermore, her photos and captions do not have to be about The Bachelor.

‘There’s been quite a bit of resentment about this,’ the source said.

‘Some of the other girls have six months’ worth of selfies saved up and get in trouble if they dare change a [pre-approved] caption, but Cass is posting constantly.’

Cassandra’s Instagram profile consists mainly of posts about her jewellery brand and she rarely mentions her appearance on The Bachelor.

Interestingly, her bio does not reference the dating show either, whereas the other women are required to tag The Bachelor’s official account.

Explaining her decision to appear on The Bachelor, Cassandra previously said: ‘I’m single because I have a high standard of myself and others.

‘And I have been quite focused on my career and building my jewellery business.’
