The Project’s Carrie Bickmore shares an image of her childhood home in Adelaide

She’s the proud mother to two children – Oliver, nine, and Evie, three – and is expecting a third child with her long-term boyfriend Chris Walker.

But Carrie Bickmore had her own childhood had on her mind on Saturday.

The 37-year-old shared a snap of the first ever home she lived in as a baby to her Instagram Story.

The Project house captioned the photo:  ‘Mum driving me past the first house I ever lived in as a baby in Adelaide’.

The photo shows an unassuming suburban home with a tall wall of thatched brushwood fencing and deep green railing. 

It appears to to a Federation style home with an old fashioned tin roof augmented by solar panels, which may not have been installed during Carrie’s time at the home.  

The TV host was born in Adelaide, South Australia in 1980, however she moved to Perth, Western Australia when still a child.  

It comes after Carrie opened up about her parents’ divorce when she was just three years old.

The Channel Ten panellist explained that her ‘childhood wasn’t perfect’ but admitted she felt grateful that her mother and father could get on so amicably 35 years later.  

‘A lot of water has to go under a bridge before the pain of a divorce can be washed away, if at all,’ she wrote in her column for Stellar magazine.  

‘My childhood wasn’t perfect but I’ve realised the older I get, and now with a family of my own, that no childhood is perfect. A nuclear family doesn’t guarantee happiness,’ Carrie remarked.

Carrie welcomed her first child with late ex-husband Greg Lange, son Oliver Lange, in September 2007. 

Greg tragically passed away in December 2010 after losing his battle with brain cancer. 

Carrie later met her partner Chris Walker, a producer at the time on The Project, and the couple welcomed their first child, daughter Evie Walker, in March 2015.

The mum of two announced this week that she is expecting her second child partner Chris.
