But Tommy Little has hinted he’s leaving the TV screens by revealing he is studying to be a pilot.

On Wednesday, the 36-year-old told his followers he was preparing for his pilot’s exam.

The comedian admitted he was incredibly nervous after failing his first attempt.

‘After failing my first attempt I’ve got my second crack at my pilot’s exam tomorrow and as you can see if you swipe, I’m feeling pre-tty,’ he wrote alongside a photo of a map and some study books, as well as a selfie of him looking stressed. 

Tommy is a comedian, writer, actor, television and radio presenter. He has co-hosted The Project for four years and also has his own radio show Carrie & Tommy on the Hit Network with Carrie Bickmore.

It comes after Tommy found someone who looks just like him on the popular dating app Hinge. 

The radio host shared a photo of himself holding up his phone, which was open on the profile of a man known simply as ‘Nick’.

The comedian appeared bemused, zooming in on the man’s profile, which included a photo of someone who looked uncannily similar to him.

‘The one thing I’d love to know about you is: Are you looking for fun?’ read Nick’s profile on the dating app.

Tommy captioned the post: ‘Apparently I’m also on Hinge looking for fun.’ 

His hilarious post won plenty of comments from confused fans, with many claiming they’d ‘swipe’ on Nick.

‘Why do you lend your face out so readily? As a hobby?’ asked once curious fan.

‘If this isn’t photoshopped then there are genuine doppelgängers out there,’ commented one person. 

Added another: ‘Oh I’ve come across him a few times’.

It’s unclear whether the photo in question is an old picture of Tommy – or someone with similar looks to The Project star.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Tommy for clarification.

He shared some of the messages he’d received from fans, with several people alerting him to someone supposedly stealing his identity.

‘Someone is catfishing with your face,’ wrote one person, referring to when someone creates a false online profile to lure people in.
