The real life Tigger | Daily Mail Online

A photographer has captured an incredible image of a leaping tiger looks exactly like Winnie the Pooh’s bouncy best friend Tigger.

David Ogden’s shot of a tiger jumping up from a body of water is so well-timed that it looks as though it was bouncing on its tail just like the A.A. Milne creation.

The shot was captured at the now-closed Tiger Temple, in Kanchanaburi Province, Thailand, in September 2014.

Despite capturing the image so long ago, Mr Ogden, 45, only recently discovered the shot when he was searching through his old files.

David, who is from Florida, USA, said: ‘I was giddy when I stumbled upon this image.

‘Recently I was sorting through the entire collection of raw files from this location, and this single image stood out as light in the darkness.’

David oversees a group known as the ‘David Ogden Photographic Ministry,’ which has gained more than one million followers on Facebook alone.

One this group, David pairs his stunning nature photography with matching Bible verses.

The photographer’s travels to capture such images have taken him to the likes of Namibia, Zambia, Botswana, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Thailand and Israel.

Speaking of his Tigger image, David said: ‘People from the U.S. to the Middle East have reacted by commenting with ‘Amens.’

‘This gorgeous tiger was shiny and his movements like lightning.

‘He was well aware of my 400mm lens with each step. It felt at times as if he was posing for the camera.

‘He would leap off a rock three or four meters into the air, look back at the camera, then swat at something before splashing in a small lake.

‘His tail strategically broke his fall when landing. Those giant paws moved so quickly they blurred when he swat.

‘To witness it in person became spiritual quick and I realized this 350-pound orange animal moving this fast can not be a random accident.’
