Sheridan Buchanan-Sorensen hadn’t gone on a date in 21 years when she joined the cast of Channel Seven’s new reality series The Single Wives.
The program, which sends divorcees and widows on a series of dates as they look for new love, matched the 41-year old with men closer to her own age, including a man aged 55.
But the mother of two and founder of the popular ‘Sugar free mum’ Instagram page on Saturday revealed she had found romance a 25-year-old man she met at her local coffee shop.

‘I am turning 42 years of age this month. And he is 25. 17 years. 17 YEARS!’ she marveled in an opinion piece for women’s gossip site Mamamia.
After a series of unsuccessful dates on the reality show, the blonde’s three chance encounters with the young man led to an exchange of numbers.
She wrote: ‘Then the jolt came… I had no makeup on, having a coffee early one morning and in he strolled. All 6ft 2inches of blonde, toned, white shiny teeth, blue eyes and looking like he’d just strolled off Baywatch.’
‘All of the self doubt crept in like a hurricane – why on earth would he want dinner with me? Maybe something is wrong with him?’ she added.

Despite the significant age gap, the pair have continued to see one another since.
And Sheridan has insisted that her new man isn’t bored when out with her friends, who are all older mothers like her.
The social media strategist will appear on the reality TV dating show, The Single Wives, which will air from July 18.

The upcoming series will follow four, glamorous formerly married women as they move into a luxury $20 million dollar home together and start dating again with the help of ‘the world’s number one dating coach’ Matthew Hussey, 31.
Twice-divorced Sheridan is already shaping up to be a standout, and at nearly 42 years of age she has no issue being the oldest member of the cast.
‘I don’t look it!’ the stunning single mum confidently told The Herald Sun.
