The staggering cost of Delta Goodrem’s dazzling diamond ring revealed – after the singer announced engagement to Matthew Copley

Delta Goodrem has been proudly flashing her huge diamond engagement after her new fiancé Matthew Copley popped the question last week. 

And the singer’s bling is worth a pretty penny, according to leading diamond expert, Zack Stone, a specialist at UK retailer Steven Stone. 

‘Delta’s engagement ring from Matthew features what appears to be a 3ct round cut diamond in a solitaire setting’ Stone said. 

He called it ‘the most iconic and popular of all diamond shapes’ that is ‘believed to signal everlasting love and eternity.’

‘The diamond is sat in a solitaire setting, which is a timeless choice for those in search of a style that will always be on trend’ Stone went on.

‘The timeless diamond is sat on a pave diamond band, which means that the shank of the ring is lined with small diamond that give it that extra element of radiance.’

As for value, Stone estimates that the ring is worth a whopping AUD $123,000. 

Delta announced her engagement to Matthew in an Instagram post on Thursday evening along with a loved-up photo of the couple on holiday in Malta. 

In the image, Delta tenderly embraced her love in front of a stunning seaside vista as the sun set in the foreground and the couple enjoyed a glass of Champagne. 

‘My best friend asked me to marry him,’ she giddily captioned the image, alongside a ring emoji.

Delta also shared footage of the precious moment which saw a quartet playing in front of a lawn dusted with white rose petals.

As the camera panned across a stunning vista, Delta shared a glimpse of her blinding engagement ring. 

Delta recently wrapped her European Hearts on the Run tour and was enjoying some downtime in Malta before her return to Australia on Monday. 

 In 2018, she told InStyle Australia she’d made a ‘conscious decision’ to keep her love life private moving forward.

‘I made a [choice] that I’m not even going to comment “yes” or “no”… I’ve said nothing for three or four years,’ she stated.

As a result, Delta and Matthew never appear on the red carpet together and the Born to Try hitmaker rarely goes into specifics about her relationship in interviews.
