The Sugababes look almost unrecognisable as they jet into Sydney ahead of a string of shows

British girl group the Sugababes were spotted jetting into Sydney Airport on Wednesday.

Siobhán Donaghy, Mutya Buena and Keisha Buchanan, who are the founding members of the hit band, flew into together from London.

The girls looked almost unrecognisable as they touched down in Australia, where they will be performing a string of shows for die-hard fans.

Mutya, 37, flashed her countless tattoos and cut a casual figure in a tracksuit and ugg boots as she puffed on a cigarette outside the terminal.

Siobhán, 38, went makeup free and showed off her vibrant red locks as she touched down, making sure to take pictures and videos on her phone.

Keisha, 38, kept a low profile in a navy blue tracksuit and sunglasses – and hurled an oversized bag full of goods from the UK pharmacy Boots.

The hitmakers all appeared in high spirits as they touched down, and even happily obliged fans who wanted photographs with them.

The group will be performing in Sydney on Thursday at the Enmore Theatre and at the Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne on Friday.

But back as the Sugababes now, Mutya, Keisha and Siobhán took to Glastonbury’s Avalon stage earlier last year, blowing fans away as they performed classic such as Round Round.

The performance was such a hit that festival security were forced to close off the field due to massive crowds gathering to watch.

Reminiscing on the performance, they told Good Morning Britain’s Ben and Kate: ‘Before we went on, we were told that it would be like 3000 capacity and then when we got in they were like we need to shut down the field, there’s too many people.

‘We couldn’t believe it, it was amazing,’ they explained.

It was reported in December last year by The Sun that The Sugababes are at the centre of a record label bidding war after reuniting for a comeback tour.

Executives are reportedly keen to sign the girls for new music after the group thrilled fans by embarking on their tour almost 25 years after originally forming.

A source told The Sun: ‘There are lots of Nineties and Noughties acts which reunite and it’s a bit cheesy and full of nostalgia, but the original Sugababes are actually cool, credible artists.

‘They have really impressed people at the major labels this year with their voices.

‘The reaction from fans proves they are really a viable act to have huge success with new music.’
