After watching her recent interview on Channel Seven’s Sunday Night, they were ‘confused and upset’ over the ‘ghoulish’ transformation of the girl they knew as little Kitty Sullivan.
Speaking to The Herald Sun on Saturday, co-stars including Lorraine Bayly (Grace Sullivan) and Steven Tandy (Tom Sullivan) voiced their concerns.

During her interview with Sunday Night presenter Matt Doran, she appeared unrecognisable, sporting peroxide-blonde hair and tiny hot pants.
After watching the tense conversation, Lorraine told News Corp she was ‘confused and upset’ after seeing the woman Susan had become.

Cast members told stories of Susan arriving on set after nights of partying and occasionally boasting about how she was a ‘movie star’ – despite The Sullivans being the only role she ever played.
Lorraine described her behaviour as a typical case of fame going to someone’s head, comprising of small fibs such as claiming to have nabbed lucrative film and TV roles.
Steven added that he’d been in conversation with Lorraine after the Sunday Night interview aired, with the pair describing both her looks and lifestyle as ‘ghoulish’.

‘I don’t want to denigrate her for the way she looks but I just couldn’t believe it was the same person,’ Steven admitted.
He had last seen Susan two decades ago over dinner – and the actor’s comments regarding her looks imply she has changed drastically since then.

While Lorraine and Steven were shocked, Michael Caton (Uncle Harry on The Sullivans, Darryl Kerrigan on The Castle), appeared less surprised.
