The pair took the defeat in their stride despite and stopped the bidding on the night as they worried they would earn just a few thousand if bids went over their reserve.
‘That was extremely stressful. Could have been a lot worse. Even though it is bad at this stage, it could have been a lot worse,’ Sharon said.
Ahead of the finale, the married couple revealed they had fears about how the sale of their home would go at auction time.
‘It’s really scary because we don’t know what’s going to happen and it’s taken a while to actually finish,’ former Neighbours star Sharon told Yahoo.

‘There was still stuff going on, so taking buyers through at different stages of completion has been really scary.’
However, Ankur insisted the pair aren’t in the competition just for a big payday.
‘This sounds stupid, but we didn’t do it for the money.’
