Mollie Pearce has opened up on her heartbreak following her split from Max Blackwell as she shared a relationship status update following Valentine’s Day.

The Traitors runner-up and Dancing On Ice star, 23, ended her relationship with her long-term boyfriend last year and insisted the break-up was ‘amicable’.

The disability model, who was born with missing digits on her right hand, rose to fame on the hit BBC One show last year but lost out on the £95,150 cash prize to Traitor Harry, 23.

Reflecting on her split from Max, Mollie told the Mirror that she was ‘taking it one day at a time’ and was concentrating on her skating for the ITV dancing competition.

Confirming her current relationship status, she told the publication: ‘It was helpful that everything was amicable, we’re still friends – I have so much respect for him and vice versa.

‘Right now I’m just focusing on skating and taking one day at a time. I’m finding love with myself!’

While she was dating Max during her time on The Traitors, viewers were convinced Mollie developed feelings for Harry.

But she had always been in a relationship with long-term boyfriend Max, who she met through her older brother, Sam.

After loving each other for over three years, the couple decided to break up, but Mollie confirmed they remain good friends.

Mollie told MailOnline: ‘After a number of happy years together Max and I have decided to part ways.

‘It was amicable and we’re both still friends.’

A source added: ‘Mollie and Max loved their time together but they’re both young and the relationship they shared reached a natural end.

‘They both support each other in everything they do and Max is really excited to watch Mollie on Dancing On Ice given he knows how much the opportunity means to her.’

Mollie is not only keeping busy with Dancing On Ice but she is also training for an open-water swimming challenge, this time to raise money for Marie Curie.
