The Veronicas’ Jess and Lisa Origliasso take ANOTHER swipe at Qantas

Will this feud last 4ever? The Veronicas’ Jess and Lisa Origliasso take ANOTHER swipe at Qantas as they praise rival airline Virgin Australia

The Veronicas have reignited their feud with Qantas after claiming they were unfairly removed from a flight last month.

While things appeared to have calmed down, Lisa Origliasso couldn’t resist taking another swipe at the airline on Monday.

In a post shared to Instagram, the 34-year-old singer shared a Boomerang video of herself sitting on a Virgin Australia flight instead.

‘Averaging a flight every 2-3 days… Happy to be giving you alllll my $$ @virginaustralia,’ she captioned the video.

Lisa’s twin, Jessica Origliasso, then reposted her sister’s video to her own Instagram account, alongside a series of flame emojis.

Last month, the stars claimed they were wrongly removed from a Qantas flight after asking a flight attendant for help adjusting their bags in the overhead compartment.

‘We actually already had our bag up in the overhead. The female flight attendant wanted Lisa’s bag spun around,’ they explained in a statement at the time.

‘Lisa asked the attendant if she could help assist her because she couldn’t reach it (we’re only 5’1’). The attendant said it was against company policy. And a lovely man behind us helped instead.

‘Then right before take-off, the flight attendant brought over the manager and pointed us out. He proceeded to lecture us about company policy. We listened and asked for their names.’

The singers said staff refused to give their names and then announced they would be calling police to intervene.

‘Thank you to the beautiful team @virginaustralia who have made this morning’s flying such a kind and calm experience,’ Jess tweeted at the time.

‘Lisa and I had so much apprehension and anxiety flying today after the criminal and morally corrupt experience last week, and the continued lies and defamation we have faced in the media.

‘But everyone from check-in to flight has made today a really supportive and kind experience. We are so grateful.’
