The Voice Australia: Why the coaches wear the same clothes in every episode revealed

The REAL reason The Voice coaches wear the same clothes every single episode… as fans are left baffled by their recycled outfits

The Voice Australia has left fans baffled for a very valid reason.

After the Channel Nine show aired its fifth episode of the new season on Monday, many fans are confused as to why the coaches never change their clothes.

Kelly Rowland, Boy George, Delta Goodrem and Guy Sebastian have all been wearing the same outfits for almost two weeks now during every single Blind Audition.

Budget cuts? The Voice Australia were baffled as coaches Guy Sebastian, Boy George, Delta Goodrem and Kelly Rowland wore the same clothes for the fifth episode in a row on Monday

Whereas some fans have speculated that all auditions were filmed on the same day, others have suggested there may be ‘budget cuts’ in the wardrobe department.

However, Daily Mail Australia can reveal the surprisingly simple explanation.

The coaches deliberately wear the same clothes for continuity purposes and so producers can seamlessly cut auditions together during the editing process.

In reality, all of the Blind Auditions were filmed over several days at Fox Studios in Sydney back in February.

Yet by having the coaches wear the same clothes, producers can pick which acts appear in each episode, with viewers believing that was the natural order.

The coaches’ repeated outfits have already caused a stir on Twitter this year.

‘Episode 5 of #TheVoiceAU and they’re still wearing the same clothes as they have on every other night. How does this happen every year?’ wrote one fan on Monday.

‘So wait they filmed this all in one day? They’ve been in the same clothes for weeks,’ questioned another viewer on Twitter.

Producers use the same continuity tactic with the coaches’ clothing every year.
