Adelaide girl group G-Nat!on set to ‘make history’ on The Voice Australia – and they know just how to get the judges’ attention
Years ago Australian Idol brought us The Young Divas, but now it appears Channel Seven’s hit show The Voice will deliver another fantastic girl group, called G-Nat!on.
On Sunday night’s episode of the singing contest fans will meet the teenage team, made up of Isla Ward, 17; Taylah Silvestri, 18; Emma Caporaso, 18; Mateja Sardelis, 16; Alessia Musolino, 17 and Rylee Vormelker, 17.
The six girls who hail from Adelaide are set to make history, as they’re the largest group to ever audition for The Voice Australia – and they are the only band to take part this season.

G-Nat!on will make their debut on the show by singing a song by Aussie pop band 5SOS, something they knew would get the attention of hosts, Guy Sebastian, Rita Ora, Jessica Mauboy and Keith Urban.
‘We wanted a song which would showcase our harmonies but also separate us from girl groups in the past,’ Rylee told The Daily Telegraph.
Like most girl bands, the biggest incentive about performing together is having the guided support from one another, which G-Nat!on made all the difference as they sang their hearts out in front of the coaches.

‘We were so glad to have each other to help us with our nerves,’ Rylee added.
And while the rising stars will no doubt harmonise beautifully on-screen, they also seem to have a sense of humour, too.
With Alessia joking: ‘Also technically we are The Voices, not just The Voice – so that might also be a bit controversial.’

This season of The Voice has already brought many iconic moments to life.
So much so that things aren’t looking good for Nine’s The Block, which is struggling along with about half the audience of Seven’s talent show.
Monday night’s episode of The Block had just 619,000 viewers in the five capital cities – Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
By contrast The Voice continued its dominance in the 7:30pm time slot with 1.158 million metro viewers, making it the most-watched entertainment show of the night.
