She was a fan favourite who announced she was pregnant with her second child on a recent episode of The Voice.
And when Rebecca Selley was eliminated on Monday’s episode of the show, many watching at home were outraged.
The 34-year-old was voted off by her mentor Kelly Rowland, who instead picked rapper Denzel, in what was the first episode of the finals before the live shows start.

And the reaction on Twitter was swift, with one person writing: ‘I don’t think I’ve ever been so disappointed with a decision. Rebecca deserved a spot’.
Another person Tweeted: ‘Big big mistake!!!!!!! How can you let Rebecca go…. over who!??? Denzel!?? Big mistake!’
Yet another wrote: ‘How on EARTH can you not take Rebecca though??? Best vocalist on your team, Kelly, by a long, long way.’

One more fan chimed in: ‘How is Rebecca worse than any of the three. Kelly, you disappointed Australia tonight’ while another said they were ‘outraged’.
Mother-of-one Rebecca delivered a stirring rendition of Beyonce’s Ave Maria earlier in the episode, and Kelly fought back tears as she let the singer go.
‘Rebecca represents women everywhere who are like, I can have the baby and I can work too. I can have the baby and bring home the bacon,’ the emotional judge said.

However the former Destiny’s Child singer picked the person she felt ‘had growing to do and needs me as a coach’ which is rapper Denzel.
Rebecca, who has a two-year-old toddler, J.J., had revealed she is expecting a girl earlier in the episode.
