The Wiggles’ Lachlan Gillespie and Emma Watkins hold hands after split

They recently performed their first Wiggles concert together since announcing their shock split earlier this month.

And it seems former lovebirds Lachlan Gillespie, 32, and Emma Watkins, 28, are gradually getting used to touring with each other as exes.

The pair sang, danced and held hands in the relaxed atmosphere of the Merton Hotel in Rozelle, Sydney, in a video shared to the band’s Instagram page on Tuesday.

The estranged couple appeared perfectly at ease with each other as they twirled and exchanged friendly glances throughout the performance.

Emma appeared to be in high spirits as she danced alongside Lachlan, who seemingly couldn’t wipe the smile off his face.

Their pub appearance was part of Lachlan’s musical side project with fellow Wiggle Anthony Field, a folk band called The Unusual Commoners.

The sighting comes after Lachlan and Emma performed on stage for young children at the St Marys Rugby League Club in Sydney on Sunday.

The dynamic between them was ‘tense’ and ‘awkward’, The Daily Telegraph reported.

Their body language during the performance was supposedly ‘a little flat’ and at one point Lachlan offered his hand to his ex, which she refused to accept.

It is unclear if this was an arranged part of the performance, a mistake in the choreography or a possible sign of tension.

They said in a joint statement: ‘We love and adore performing as Emma and Lachy in The Wiggles and having the privilege of celebrating this happiness with extraordinary families around the world.

‘Please know that we are stronger than ever and we can’t wait to see you at a show soon.’
