The giggling voicemails Chris Watts’ secret mistress left him before he murdered his wife and kids last year after planning a new life with his lover have been revealed.
They are part of HLN’s new docu-series, Lies, Crimes & Video, which DailyMail.com exclusively obtained excerpts from ahead of an episode about Watts’ case and his new life in prison.
Watts murdered his wife Shanann and their daughters Bella and Celeste in Boulder, Colorado, in August last year.
He had been having an affair with Nicole Kessinger and had told her he wanted to start a new life with her.
Watts is now in prison in Wisconsin serving life. He writes to his mother and in one recent letter told her he was a ‘changed man’.
It came ahead of what would have been one of his youngest daughter Celeste’s fourth birthday.
‘I’m still a Dad! I’m still a son! No matter what. Now, I can add servant of God to that mix! He has shown me peace, peace, love and forgiveness, and that’s how I live every day,’ he told his mother in one letter.

Kessinger left the killer husband voicemails telling him she missed his face. She giggled in most of them
Kessinger, who has since said she had no idea he planned to kill his whole family and who has moved to escape the scandal, was leaving him voicemails for weeks beforehand.
In one, she was heard giggling saying: ‘Hi, it’s me. I miss your face. Call me when you can, I guess.’
She refers to herself only as ‘me’ in others that the docuseries obtained.
Despite strangling his pregnant wife and suffocating their young daughters, Watts has gathered admirers in the public.
Two women are now visiting him in prison in Wisconsin.
One was happy to be filmed in the documentary. She gave her name as Anna.

Another woman who called herself Kate but did not want to be filmed said she visited him two to three times a week.

Before the murders, he had gone on Tinder dates with another woman.
A man says he also had sexual exchanges with him.
In the days immediately after killing them, he pretended he did not know where his family was.
He even had to the gall to go on national television and plead for their safe return.
But his story fell apart quickly when surveillance footage taken by neighbors’ cameras showed Shanann returning home from a business trip in the middle of the night and then never being seen again.
Watts was also filmed carrying her body out of their home in the middle night to his truck and then driving with it and the girls to an oil field where he worked.
There, he dumped Shanann in a shallow grave and put the girls oil tanks.
The episode about the Watts case will air on Saturday July 13 at 8pm ET on HLN
