Brie our guest! World’s first cheese-themed hotel suite is set to open – with cheese-themed furniture and cheese-scented soap
- The Cheese Suite will open between January 29 and February 6 in London
- It will feature giant cheese installations as well as cheese-themed bedding
- Guests will be able to call a delivery service to have cheese delivered
It will definitely be a brie-lliant place to stay.
A cheese-themed hotel suite is set to open in London – and it’s billed as a world first.
The Cheese Suite, in Camden, will start welcoming guests from January 29 and will feature cheese-themed furniture, wallpaper, cushions and throws and even offer cheesy-scented soap in the bathroom.

Guests will be able to take selfies in front of the suite’s giant cheese installations before turning in for the night snuggled up in cheese-themed bedding.
As the accommodation is self-catered, there will be plenty of cheese-themed cookbooks on hand.
If they don’t fancy cooking, guests can call a cheese delivery service to have snacks delivered straight to their door while listening to a specially-compiled cheesy music playlist.
And the room will be stocked with classic cheesy board games to help pass the time.

The suite, which will be in an apartment complex, is being created by Café Rouge to celebrate its new ‘cheesy menu’, but will only be open until February 6.
Stays are limited to one night and are free, but guests are encouraged to donate to the restaurant chain’s charity, the Prince’s Trust.
Jacqueline Fletcher, head of marketing at Café Rouge, said: ‘We always want to cater to the appetite of our customers and we know that there’s a real hunger for cheese-based dishes after serving over 20,000 Cheese afternoon teas since launching in 2018.

‘So, we wanted to give the nation somewhere new and exciting to be totally immersed in one of their favourite foods in none other than a cheese-themed hotel suite, while also trying some of our winter dishes from the comfort of the sofa.’
