French judicial police are continuing to investigate the claims against 29-year-old Brown and two co-accused who were arrested in Paris on Monday.
All were alleged to have attacked the 24-year-old woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, in Brown’s £19,000 suite at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Paris on January 16.
Thursday, Brown filed a defamation lawsuit against the woman titled ‘False accusation, committed on January 18, 2019’ – referring to the day she went to the police.
The men were questioned in custody for more than 24 hours after being arrested in the same place on Monday this week.
They are now on unconditional release, and have not been charged, but their legal status in France can be changed at any time. All have vehemently denied any wrongdoing.

Singer Chris Brown (pictured with girlfriend Ammika Harris) appears in good spirits while leaving a hotel in Paris after being released Tuesday from police custody after a woman filed a rape complaint against him
The woman – a student and occasional actor and model originally from Algeria – on Friday gave her longest interview to date to the Parisien newspaper, denying she was an escort girl.
‘This is totally wrong!’ she said. ‘This world, these drugs, these people, they’re not from my world. I came to France for my studies.
‘I obtained two language qualifications and I started theatre classes in September at a prestigious school.
‘Yes, I’ve done some photos as a model, but that’s it. Those who know me know I have nothing to do with this type of environment.’
Brown mingled with the public this week after his release and was reportedly proclaiming his love for everyone he saw
In a post on Instagram on Tuesday Brown denied the accusation saying it is ‘false’, ‘disrespectful’ and ‘against my character and morals’
She said she would ‘never’ report an alleged triple rape for money, adding: ‘I want justice. Can you imagine it, when you see the difficulty I had in pushing open the door of the police station.
‘I was offered an appointment with a psychologist … in April! But I was also examined by a doctor. And I know that in the end, justice will recognise that what I said is true.’
The woman was in floods of tears as she said that ‘in agreement with my lawyer’ she would not discuss specific details of a case that could see Brown, his unidentified bodyguard, and another friend of the star imprisoned.
But she continued: ‘What I can tell you is that what I’m going through is terrible.’

She said she had decided to speak out after a French magazine carried a report about her police complaint ‘even though the last thing in the world I wanted was for it to be made public.
‘But since I took this step, it hasn’t stopped. I’ve been dragged in to the mud on social networks. There is even a picture of me, taken by the police during my audition, circulating on social networks, with insults.
‘What I want is justice. And that the horror of what I have suffered does not happen to any other girl.
‘I’m living through a nightmare. And the worst thing is that I feel like I have fallen into a trap, to have been a victim of a system, which works with a well oiled procedure.’

‘Today, I am ashamed to have to speak. My life is upset. I am exhausted, under tranquilisers. I could not resume classes. But if I do that, it’s so that no one else will go through what I’ve gone through.
Detectives raided the rooms last Monday afternoon, following the complaints last Friday.
A legal source in Paris said: ‘Chris was completely taken by surprise by the police in his very large suite at the Mandarin Oriental hotel.
‘He and two other guys were being taken in for questioning over the attack claims, but the rooms were also searched and cocaine was found.
‘Chris had people in for a party on the Sunday night, and it went on all night. He had no responsibility for what people were bringing in.’
Brown also told detectives that he took mild drugs for ‘medicinal purposes’, providing a note from a doctor in America proving this.
Raphael Chiche, Brown’s French lawyer, said his client and two other men being investigated for rape and drug offences ‘absolutely deny any wrong doing.’
Mr Chiche said he was pursuing a defamation law suit against the complainant, and that there was zero DNA or other forensic evidence proving rape.
‘Chris Brown had no sexual relations of any sort with the complainant,’ said Mr Chiche.
Mr Chiche said his client would continue to cooperate with investigators and ‘will come back if he has to.’
