This Is Us season six teaser takes fans on a walk down memory lane as emotional moments are relived in sneak peek for the final chapter


This Is Us fans will be taking a walk down memory lane in a new a teaser for the upcoming sixth and final season.

Rather than new scenes, the new sneak peek shows a montage of emotional moments involving the Pearson family.

The teaser begins with Kate Pearson (Chrissy Metz) singing Time After Time at a retirement home before a montage of heartfelt moments flash on screen.

‘I’m not worried about forgetting about the big stuff,’ Rebecca Pearson (Mandy Moore) says in a scene discussing her Alzeihmer’s diagnosis. ‘It’s the little things I’m not ready to let go of yet.’

The tear-jerking scene where Randall (Sterling K. Brown) spends time with his biological father William (Ron Cephas Jones), who is dying in the hospital, also flashes on screen.   

And the Pearson siblings are seen leaning on one another as they sit by a serene pond.

While this new teaser consists of flashbacks, fans won’t have to wait much longer for new content – a full trailer will be released on Thanksgiving Day.

When news that the show would be ending after six seasons emerged earlier this year, Mandy shared a bittersweet Instagram post quoting Dan Fogelman, the creator of the series.

‘Whoever casually first said “All good things must come to an end” never had to end their favorite thing,’ Dan’s quote read. ‘While sad to have just 1 season left, also grateful to NBC for letting us end the show how, and when, we always intended.

Mandy sounded determined to savor the end of the series in her caption.

‘Officially official. One season left of my favorite job,’ she wrote. ‘You can bet we will be soaking in every single moment.’ 

The 18-episode sixth and final season of This Is Us debuts January 4, with the show going on a brief hiatus for Winter Olympic coverage, returning Tuesday, February 2 at 9 PM ET on NBC.
