NO MORE SUNBATHING

After having a skin cancer scare, I gave up sunbathing 20 years ago. I use SkinCeuticals Ultra Facial Defense SPF 50 (£41, skinceuticals.co.uk) every day. It’s light and perfect to wear under make-up. I also apply St. Moriz No Mess Clear Gradual Tan Mousse (£4.66, superdrug.com) every week, for a healthy, sun-kissed glow.

FOUR-STEP FRIZZ FIX

My daughter is a hairdresser so luckily I’ve been able to have my hair done during lockdown. I used to struggle with frizz, but now I wash my hair with Olaplex No 4 Bond Maintenance shampoo and No 5 conditioner; then I rub in a tiny bit of No 6 Bond Smoother and No 3 Hair Perfector (£26 each, cultbeauty.co.uk). After blow-drying, it looks healthier than ever.

MORNING YOUTH ELIXIR

Each day I take a spoonful of Holland & Barrett Flaxseed Oil (£18.99, hollandandbarrett.com), which helps with joint pain. Then, I take a capful of the brand’s Aloe Vera Juice Drink (£9.59 for 473ml), for gut health. I finish with a glass of So Body Co collagen powder, dissolved in water (£29.99 for a 30-day supply, sobody.co). I’ve been taking collagen supplements for two years.

WEIGHT-LOSS SHAKES

Last autumn, I went on the Herbalife meal-plan diet, replacing two meals a day with the high protein shake mix (£30.58 for 550g, herbalife.co.uk). I lost 8lb in four weeks and am now on the maintenance plan, eating 1,200 calories a day. I feel fabulous.

MIDLIFE MODELLING

I’ve had so many jobs, from being an air hostess to running a hair salon. I put my career on hold when I had my daughter. After my mum had a stroke, I spent 15 years caring for her until she died in 2013. She was so positive and such an inspiration. Now, I volunteer for Marie Curie to help others like my mum. I’ve also been modelling part-time for six years and it’s a real confidence boost.
