This Morning fans left aghast as naked hotel owner and nude guest join the show for ‘staycation’ segment

This Morning fans were left aghast during Thursday’s programme when the presenters were joined by a naked hotel owner as they discussed ‘staycation’s.’

Tim Higgs, who runs nudist resort Clover Spa and Hotel in Birmingham, appeared on the show alongside his regular nude guest, Helen. 

Hosts Andi Peters and Rochelle Humes were keen to find out more about the unique venue but viewers at home weren’t best pleased with the segment. 

Tim revealed that when he first opened the doors to the ‘liberating’ hotel 12 years ago, admitted that neighbours called the police due to the shock. 

Fan at home shared their thoughts on Twitter with one person writing: ’10:45am and I’m not ready for naked flesh.’

Another added: ‘Each to their own but nobody needs to see me with my knackers swinging in the breeze.’ 

‘Have I entered the twilight zone Top rated naturist hotel Birmingham 2 naked people live on This Morning,’ some one else questioned. 

Another viewer added: ‘Why are all these nudist places full of people that really need to keep their clothes on.’ 

‘That’s guy’s nipples ate staring at me! Make them go away!’ someone joked.  

Speaking during the interview Tim explained how ‘shedding your clothes sheds the labels and it’s really liberating.’ 

However, he did confess that his neighbours first found the nudist resort ‘shocking.’ 

He added: ‘They were shocked rather than alarmed. It was one visit and they called the police, but it is not illegal and not immoral and we don’t want to offend anybody.

‘It’s not weird and we should normalise accepting our bodies.’

The luxury naturist holiday spot opened its doors in  and, despite the less-than-exotic environs, its clothes-free visitors have unanimously given it the thumbs up.

Guests rave about the cleanliness, the relaxed atmosphere and the friendly staff. Many have already returned more than once.

He has ensured there’s plenty to do to keep guests occupied. The seven-room hotel, set in a 1920s former private residence, boasts luxury spa facilities – sauna, steam room, hot tub on the patio and a cold plunge pool, as well as oil-scented treatment rooms for naturist massages and facials.

There’s a picturesque garden where guests gather in warmer weather, or heated, mosaic-tiled lounging areas for cooler days.
