This Morning fans rejoice as Richard and Judy RETURN to the show… but they are later left frustrated as pair play a ‘painful’ game of It’s Behind You

They’re the This Morning legends who fronted the show between 1988 and 2001.

And fans were rejoicing as Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan made a triumphant return to the ITV daytime programme on Friday.

However, viewers were later left divided as the duo later took part in a hilariously disastrous game of It’s Behind You.

The presenters briefly appeared on This Morning back in September, and on Friday they took to the sofa to once more as they filled in for this week’s hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford. 

As fans tuned in, many declared how pleased they were to see the couple back on the show, as some remarked it was ‘surreal’ and that they had ‘gone back in time.’  

Taking to Twitter, one fanb wrote: ‘@thismorning Great to see @richardm56 Richard and Judy back!’ 

While another remarked: ‘Iv just gone back in time! #richardandjudy are back yaaaay! Looking good and sounding like they have never been away!’

‘Judy and Richard are back. I used to have days off school to watch them,’ commented a fourth watcher.

Later in the show, the duo fronted the game show It’s Behind You, in which contestants had to describe an image behind the pair and they had to guess. 

However, a delay that occurred during the game and the couple struggling to hear players on the phone resulted in a hilarious display.
