Convicted one-punch killer Kieran Loveridge has been charged with assault after allegedly bashing a Rebels bikie in jail. 

Loveridge, who killed 18-year-old Thomas Kelly in a brutal one punch attack in Kings Cross in 2012, is accused of attacking senior Rebels member, Mathew Rymer, Seven News reported. 

The alleged assault comes as tensions escalate between rival gangs inside Sydney’s Silverwater jail.

Rymer is president of the Penrith chapter of the Rebels bikie gang.
