These are the three guard dogs in Japan that have become a tourist attraction.

Their security duties include poking their heads out of three square holes in their owner’s outer wall and this has proved to be such a cute sight that people flock from miles around to take pictures of them.

Even visitors from abroad have turned up, such as blogger Miguel Yeh, 34, from Taiwan, who shot a short video of the adorable Shiba Inu hounds.

In a subsequent blog he wrote about his visit, he explained that fellow Shiba Inu owners often bring their dogs to the wall ‘for a bit of fun’.

The three dogs live in Shimabara, Kyushu island.
